Mar Ivanios, our heavenly intercessor, was a great reformer and educational pioneer who transformed the academic landscape of Kerala. Born on 21 September 1882 in Mavelikkara, he was a man of profound spirituality, intellect, and vision. As a priest and later a bishop, he worked tirelessly for unity in the Church and the upliftment of society through education.
A true visionary, he believed that education must not only sharpen the mind but also shape the heart and strengthen character. His enduring legacy of truth, faith, and service continues to guide every Ivanion today, as we strive to carry forward his mission of enlightenment and excellence.
